Great from the start. Clean, everything you could need was there, all little things e.g. spices, dishwasher tablets, dish cloth, you need in the kitchen. Bedrooms are a good size. Kitchen and bathroom were very modern. Accessible to lots of places on Portland and beyond.

A lovely smart property in and out, with everything I feel you need.
Clean airy bedrooms and modern bathroom.
The house is close to the marina and plenty of space to walk your dog.
After a dip in the sea, there's a local sauna to warm up in.
Local places to eat including the newly opened Portland Pizza company.
I liked how you could be in the centre of Weymouth in 10 minutes by car, with easy and affordable parking. Enjoy all Weymouth has to offer and then back to your comfy house to relax.

We had a great stay at Sarah-Jane. The house was absolutely lovely: Clean, modern, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. It's perfectly situated, right on the beachfront and just a 10-minute walk to the local pub. Shops and other amenities are all close by too, making it very convenient. An ideal spot for sailors as near the marina, with easy access to the water. Highly recommend!

Lovely property! It was great how close it was to the beach, I watched the most beautiful sunset a top the rocks overlooking the water. Great coffee place nearbye too!

Pictures don’t do justice! This place is clean, spacious, and has everything you need! Loved how close everything was but yet was so quite and peaceful! Our family is looking forward to coming back already!

Close to coastal walks , beach .
Walked to church ope , very atmospheric when the mist descended !
Enjoyed eating at the jail house rock American diner , next to Portland prison . Good food at the cove pub . Folk singers on certain evenings.
Close to the marina , Salt restaurant .
Walked to Weymouth on the disused railway line - rodwell trail !
Caught the bus back … every fifteen minutes from Weymouth .
My dog thoroughly enjoyed her holiday
Highly recommended.
Would definitely love to visit again .

Fair winds is a lovely little property! The location is brilliant and very peaceful. The decor is lovely throughout the property and the little extras, such as tea, coffee, sugar and toilet roll were a welcomed sight.
Sarah-jane (host) was very responsive via messages and kindly gave me a heads up regarding a small issue prior to arrival, which was hugely appreciated.

Lovely comfortable home, exactly as photos. Perfect location for walking with our dog by Portland Marina and Chesil Beach.
We had a lovely, comfortable stay; very peaceful and relaxing.
Restaurants and supermarket nearby (walking distance).
Sarah-Jane is a very responsive host.

We had a lovely few days at Fair Winds. The house is exactly as it is described and photographed on the listing. The location is great and walking distance to the marina and coast, and into town. Sarah-Jane was a great host we felt comfortable contacting her if we needed anything. We stayed at the house with our dog and had no problems with anything in the house around a dog, there is a small courtyard garden with a secure fence which gave us peace of mind when he was outside. The reserved parking space directly outside the house was helpful, but also plenty of additional parking available on road at end of street so parking. Overall, a very nice house which we felt had everything we needed and we could relax easily in. We would definitely stay here again.
